District of Saanich Bylaw No. 10147 and

The program will be phased-in over two years starting in 2026, and does not apply to single family homes.

How To Identify Your Property If Multiple Buildings Share the Same Address
If your covered building shares the same address as a neighbouring building, the covered buildings list contains a “View on Map” hyperlink that leads to a Google Maps view to help identify your specific building. Before claiming a property in the Building Owner Portal, please be sure to verify the Google Maps view if multiple buildings are located at the same address.
The Covered Buildings List includes both mandatory-reporting and voluntary-reporting buildings, the status is indicated in the column for ‘First Mandatory Reporting Year’. If you cannot find your building on the list, please
submit a new ticket to the CRD Benchmarking Help Desk.
