1. Create an ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (ESPM) account
- Provide your professional or business contact information to ESPM.
- Portfolio Manager's recommended best practice is to create a shared Corporate/Organizational account, especially if multiple users require access to these properties.
- Be sure to select a username that reflects your organization, as usernames cannot be changed.
- Make sure to keep a record of your username because it cannot be recovered.
- Select Metric Units (e.g., GJ/m²) and to confirm that your username is searchable to other users.
- Choose the best option for the Primary Business or Service; this field refers to the buildings by which we mean that if you are a property manager that manages stratas primarily, choose “Multifamily Housing”
- Double check your information and then click ‘Create my Account’
- After completing the sign up form, you will receive an email to verify your account. Complete the verification.
- You are ready to get started!
