How to check multiple properties for errors at once using ESPM

If you would like to check multiple properties for common errors at the same time, this is possible by using ESPM’s portfolio view.
  1. From the ‘MyPortfolio’ tab, click on ‘Add/Edit/Delete Views’

  1. On the next page, click ‘Create New View’
  2. Name your view (e.g. Data Quality Check 2025)
  3. Select the timeframe from the drop-down menu; if you are reviewing data from the current calendar year, select ‘Current Energy Year’. If you are reviewing data from a previous year, select ‘Other Year’ and input a timeframe such as December 31, 2025
  4. Click ‘Select Information & Metrics’, then select up to 3 fields from Data Accuracy. We suggest to choose the three following alerts:
    1. Alert - Energy Meter has less than 12 full calendar months of data
    2. Alert - Energy Meter has gaps
    3. Alert - Energy Meter has overlaps
  5. Click ‘Apply Selection’
  6. Click ‘Save View'

  1. Select the radio button next to the view you would like to set as default, then click ‘Save Default View’

  1. When you click back to the dashboard page, select the view you created and refresh metrics to see results
  2. In the new dashboard view you have just created, 'Possible Issue' or 'Unable to Check (not enough data)' under the Alert columns point to data errors that may need to be addressed for your property(ies)
  3. For the properties where ESPM has identified data issues, you can run the Data Quality Checker (see instructions in Knowledge Base Article)
