2. Correct data errors & resubmit your property to the Building Owner Portal

If your property is flagged with a data error, your submission status will be updated to 'Action Required' and your property will be flagged with a notification ‘Revisions Requested’ in the Building Owner Portal.


To address the data errors identified, follow the steps below:
  1. Run the Data Quality Checker in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (For help, review the knowledge base article: “Use the data quality checker to check your data for issues and correct any errors”)
  2. Correct all errors in ESPM
  3. Click 'Resubmit' in the Building Owner Portal

If your property’s corrected data passes the data quality check, it will be submitted and your property’s status will be updated to ‘Pending Review’.
